Dr. Ndemo was appointed Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Communication where he promptly started new development programs, including marketing Kenya as a destination for Business Processing Outsourcing. Between 1989 and 1993 he was a Financial Systems Analyst with Medtronic Inc. a Fortune 500 company in the USA. He joined University of Nairobi in 1993 as a Tutorial Fellow rising through the ranks to become a Senior Lecturer in the Business School. In 2005, Dr. Ndemo continued to champion strategies of moving and transforming Kenya into the digital age in all spheres. Dr. Ndemo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, and a Masters in Management Information Systems from Minnesota USA, and a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Sheffield, England.
